Projects

ChildrenThe 7 Summits Foundation is the charitable mission that could only come from the inspired heart of AC Sherpa, a member of the famous Himalayan Sherpa tribe who came to America as a teenager. In 2010 Sherpa climbed the highest mountain on each continent  in a world-record 42 climbing days. His Seven Summits climb was undertaken to raise money and awareness to provide impoverished women and children in Third World countries with access to health care, education, electricity and other modern life-saving infrastructure. Sherpa’s also committed to responsible stewardship of endangered environmental resources.  In the last seven years, Sherpa’s foundation has provided free medical and dental car to more than 5,000 women and children in Nepal. Sherpa recently funded a hydro-electric project providing electricity to 110 homes in his home village of Tapting in Eastern Nepal.  For more information on these and other projects or to attend a screening of the documentary film illustrating A.C. Sherpa’s world-record climbing achievements and his charitable activities, call  1-888-800-0830.
